WebNavPane give users a superior Microsoft Windows-style navigation and control pane in your web applications. WebNavPane offers a superior navigation pane system, with rich visual styles and advanced features.
In version 4, WebNavPane has been refined to fully support the latest web standards. This allows you to use many of the WebNavPane features in your next-generation web applications and at the same time leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3.
The following list shows the enhancements and new features introduced in WebNavPane:
-
Fluid content
In HTML5 environment, height of an element refers to its parent's height. Hence, it is required/necessary to define its parent element. In other words, the parent container of WebNavPane must have the height value of 100% to the fluid content.
-
Border frame style
In HTML4 doctype, WebNavePane's border frame style is set to solid by default, even if user doesn't determine the property initially. In HTML5 doc type, user must specifiy the border frame style. Otherwise, the border is unable to render the frame style properly.
-
Bars size
In HTML4, you don’t have to specify the height or size of WebNavPane’s bars. However, if you use WebNavPane in HTML5 doc type, you must set the height or size of WebNavPane’s bars. In HTML5, when the size of image or font is larger than bar's (default) size, it will cause WebNavPane not properly render.

-
New Intuitive style
In this version 4, WebDesktop introduces a brand-new Metro style for each members. Metro style - the latest UI in Windows 8 has been developed and added as a new, elegant and sophisticated UI in WebDesktop family.
