If a page contains a webgrid which includes integrated webcombo it gives javascript error if you open that page with window.showModalDialog in Internet Explorer 8
When i remove <LayoutSettings AlwaysShowHelpButton="False" RoundCorner="True" EnableAnimation="True"></LayoutSettings>part from attached webcombo, problem is fixed.
Note: I could not produce same problem with adding this lines.

I had created a simple sample for testing your scenario, but your issue does not occur in my end. Here I attach my sample, could you try it in your place and please let me know if this sample works or not. If it's not, can you give me your sample with a screenshot? Thank you.
