When experimenting with the example attached on http://support.intersoftpt.com/KBArticle.aspx?aid=137, I've had some difficulties when replacing the used DataSet with a generic List.
On postback it gives me the original datasource, instead of the modified data. When using the DataSet of the example it works and does give me the modified data. So: what's the difference in using a DataSet and generic List?
Thanks.
Hello Herman,
If you see in behind code (server side), we can update the changes by retrieving the changes (cache) into dataset. So if you are using generic list, you will need how to get the cache of generic list and update the changes into your generic list object.Regards,Handy
