Hi,
I'm using the multiple row selection feature in webgrid 6, and under some circumstances some of the rows that are selected lose their selected highlighting.
This seems to happen either when the user left clicks a row, and /then/ presses control and selects more row. In this case the first row is not highlighted correctly which is confusing. Additionally, if the window loses focus (e.g. a dialog box pops up), one or more of the rows will lose their selected highlighting too.
They still show up in the RootTable.SelectedRows array, so they are still selected, however this is very confusing for the user, especially after a dialog box has popped up.
I understand that this bug may not have been fixed for webgrid 6, however is there a workaround?
Perhaps there is some way to iterate throw the selected rows and unselect and select them again? If not, is there any way I can programmatically deselect all of the rows (including removing the selection highlighting) so that the user is not confused by the fact that some rows are selected even though this is not shown?
Thanks
You can simply edit the BackColor Style property of the WebGrid with the color that you want. You need to change the BackColor Style of CheckedRowStyle, LostFocusStyle, and SelectedRowStyle in Layout Settings property with the same color. This way you can have the same color even though a dialog box appears.
Hope it helps.

I tried to make a sample, but the issue is not really clear for me. When I click more row by pressing the control and left click, the first row seems okay. When showing a dialog box, the last row color is different with the selected highlighting style, but it's only for the last row. Just to be clear, is that the issue you're facing? I attach the image of my sample.
Yes, actually that is exactly the problem I'm having. I think there may be another case where it gets hit, but I'm not able to reproduce it right now.
Is there any easy way to make sure that the last selected row to be rehighlighted as with the others? The last row highlighting colour blends in very well with the unselected colours.
