I keep reading your anwsers on the community telling us to go to your documentation concerning the manual installation of the Intersoft Toolbox.
you constantly say to go to your documentaiton. Where is this documentation?
I keep searching in pdf files and other documents in folder C:\Program Files\Intersoft Solutions and I cant find anything.
What I am doing wrong?
Below is the step-by-step to manually install, for example WebGrid, to Visual Studio 2010 ToolBox.
Open Visual Studio 2010 application.
Create a new WebSite application.
In the Designer view, refer to the ToolBox on the left side.
Right-click on the ToolBox and choose Add Tab.
Named the tab as WebUI Studio.NET.
Right-click on the created tab and select Choose Items.
Browse and add ISNet.WebUI.WebGrid.dll from %ProgramFiles%\Intersoft Solutions\WebUI Studio for ASP.NET\WebGrid.NET 7.0\Bin folder.
This step-by-step to manually install WebGrid into VS 2010 toolbox can be found in WebGrid documentation. Please click on start > All Programs > Intersoft WebUI Studio 2010 R1 > WebUI Studio for ASP.NET > WebGrid 7 > WebGrid 7 Documentation. After the documentation window open, search for Manually installing WebGrid to Visual Studio 2005 ToolBox topic.
Although the title of the topic is targeted for Visual Studio 2005 version, but the same step will works for Visual Studio 2010.
If you are using Intersoft WebUI Studio 2010 R1, you can utilize the Intersoft ToolBox Utility for Visual Studio. This small size application file will automatically re-install Intersoft’s products into the ToolBox of Visual Studio. It can be found at start > All Programs > Intersoft WebUI Studio 2010 R1 > Intersoft ToolBox Utility for Visual Studio.
Hope this helps.
If, i'm not using WebUI Studio 2010 R1,
should i manually install the toolbox for each Intersoft Web UI component that I have to use the toolbox?
Hello,
Yes, you would need to install it manually. Please follow the step by steps that Yudi suggested from 1-7.
