For some reason, especially when we have a group by row, the column header borders do not match up with the detail columns. We have columns that are 1/2 inch off in some cases. How can we get these to line up? I have tried messing with the column properties to no avail. All the samples look to line up fine and I can't find the magical setting that gets it to work.
Also, is there a way to remove the vertical scroll bar on the grid? We have a scroll bar onthe grid and one on window. In our case, it doesn't make sense to have it on the grid.
Here's the grid code.. Nothing happens in server side code.
Thanks!
We have limited support for XHTML in WebGrid 6, our suggestion for WebGrid 6 is please use the HTML Doctype. A quick test for the scenario in WebGrid 7 using XHTML doctype result in no display error / issue.
Please check the doctype of the page that has the lining issue. We recommend using following doctype.
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN" > <html>
There is no property that specifies the vertical scroll bar of WebGrid. Its appearance is automatically defined by the size of loaded rows and the height of WebGrid itself. Please try to set the height of WebGrid into an amount so that the entire loaded rows is fit in into WebGrid.
Hope this help.
Hi all,
I have the same problem only with MS Explorer 8. In compatibily mode (Explorer 7) or with Firefox all is ok.
I can't change DOCTYPE because many of my CSS property are new and they don't function with the old DOCTYPE <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN" >.
Is there any other solution? I have Intersoft Solution 2008 R2 (webGrid 6.0.7200)
Best regards
Nicola
