I recentlly upgrade my site to use the .Net Framework 4.0 and the grid stop working in google chrome.
I´m using the versions:
ISNet.WebUI.WebGrid.DLL, 6.0.7200.219
ISNet.dll, 3.0.5000.753
ISNet.WebUI.dll, 3.0.5000.753
In the google´s chrome javascript console shows the following errors.
:63813/ISRes.axd?F/ISCore.js/305000753:43Uncaught TypeError: Object [object DOMWindow] has no method 'attachEvent':63813/ISRes.axd?G/WebGrid_Core.js/607200219:9Uncaught TypeError: Object [object DOMWindow] has no method 'attachEvent':63813/ISRes.axd?G/WebGrid_UI.js/607200219:7Uncaught TypeError: Object [object DOMWindow] has no method 'attachEvent':63813/ISRes.axd?G/WebGrid_Events.js/607200219:7Uncaught TypeError: Object [object DOMWindow] has no method 'attachEvent':63813/ISRes.axd?G/WebGrid_Context.js/607200219:7Uncaught TypeError: Object [object DOMWindow] has no method 'attachEvent':63813/ISRes.axd?F/ISCore.js/305000753:30Uncaught TypeError: Object #<an HTMLBodyElement> has no method 'attachEvent':63813/ISRes.axd?F/ISCore.js/305000753:43Uncaught TypeError: Object [object DOMWindow] has no method 'attachEvent':63813/ISRes.axd?G/WebGrid_Core.js/607200219:9Uncaught TypeError: Object [object DOMWindow] has no method 'attachEvent':63813/ISRes.axd?G/WebGrid_UI.js/607200219:7Uncaught TypeError: Object [object DOMWindow] has no method 'attachEvent':63813/ISRes.axd?G/WebGrid_Events.js/607200219:7Uncaught TypeError: Object [object DOMWindow] has no method 'attachEvent':63813/ISRes.axd?G/WebGrid_RTSys.js/607200219:7Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'notifyScriptLoaded' of undefined:63813/ISRes.axd?G/WebGrid_Context.js/607200219:7Uncaught TypeError: Object [object DOMWindow] has no method 'attachEvent':63813/ISRes.axd?F/ISCore.js/305000753:30Uncaught TypeError: Object #<an HTMLBodyElement> has no method 'attachEvent':63813/ISRes.axd?D/WebAnimation.js/252007:7Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'notifyScriptLoaded' of undefined:63813/ISRes.axd?F/ISCore.js/305000753:9Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'selectSingleNode' of null
This error message is quite odd and we have not received such report so far. I tried to reproduce the problem in our local test by viewing unbound WebGrid page (WebGrid 6 build 219 and WebUI.NET Framework 3.0 build 753) in the most recent version of Google Chrome browser (5.0.375.127) but my efforts was not successful – everything worked smoothly and the grid page was accessed without any issues.
We are willing to advice you further but in order to do so we would need you to elaborate on your specific scenario; and possibly give us your project’s bin folder and your project’s web.config file for further investigation.
If you have any objections to attach those files in this community site, please send them as attachment to technical@intersoftpt.com.
facing the same problem
any solutions?
I enclosed a video that shows how Google Chrome browser renders a page that contains WebGrid 6 (build 219). The target framework is .NET Framework 4.0 and the Google Chrome browser version is 8.0.552.237.
Everything worked smoothly and the page was rendered without any issues.
Should you find any steps that I missed during my attempt to reproduce the issue, please let me know.
Same issue here, I am getting the same errors in the ISCore.js script.
Could you please provide us with more detail regarding the issue? For example: the build version of WebGrid; the build version of WebUI.NET Framework 3; any information regarding the WebServer (e.g.: IIS 7.5 with ASP.NET v.40 application pool and integrated pipeline mode); browser version (e.g.: Chrome 28.0.1500.95); screenshot of the error (if any); etc.
It would be much helpful if you could provide us with a simple project which replicates the reported problem.
Look forward to hearing back from you.
