When I'm running Chrome 43.0.2357.81 the safari.js within ISRes.axd throws the following javascript exception "Uncaught RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded".
I have noticed this error on your homepage as you can see attached.
Sorry, just realised this was a duplicate post. Bit annoying when I search for "Maximum call stack size exceeded" or other similar variations and didn't get any search results.
Only way to find was using "call stack size" Answer
Hi Adam,Did the hotfix solve your problem? Is there any difficulty of applying the hotfix? If there are any issues post applying the hotfix feel free to post it into our forum!
Hi Adam,As this hotfix is our unstable build we will strive to improve it, if there are still issues cause by this issues, feel free to inform us!But i still suggest you update your version of WebGrid to the newest version because WebGrid 8 has been discontinued and there won't be any futher fix if there is any bug on WebGrid 8.However if you are not sure whether to upgrade we can help you to test compatibility with older version of IE, please note that we are using emulation feature from IE 11 for testing. You can inform us what features/products and DOCTYPE that you use in your application, and we will update you with information regarding the compatibility result.Best Regards,Arief
I'm also getting this behavior on all pages with the webgrid control that are opened with Google Chrome.
Even this page on forum is afected by this issue, not one, but several times.
With this issue the pages takes a lot of time to load (>1min) and prevents other controls from loading.
Hi Luis DamasWe already release hotfix for this issues, you can see it in our announcement here.Best Regards,Arief
