Hi Intersoft,
I'm using Webgrid Enterpise 6.0 and I have problem when using it with Web Part Control.
The Webgrid in WebPart run fine when loading page. But when I want to re-design my layout, I change WebPart Manager to Design mode and using drag & drop to move position of Webgrid, there is a slash images appear when I drag Webgrid control. It prevent me to custom my layout.
Is this a bug that Webgrid can't be use in design mode of WebPart? If not, please send me a sample guide me to do this action.
Thanks & Regards,
Huy.
Using the latest WebGrid 6 and WebUI Framework, we could not replicate the issue you describe. Attached is the sample we are using to test your scenario.
This is your example apply to our web application. Unfortunatelly, It couldn't run. The issues still existed. It couldnt move webpart.
Please take a look in our sample and help me figure out what's the problem here.
I can't open your project. I'm using ASP.NET 2.0 Framework and Visual Studio 2005. Please open and run my attached file. Webpart couldn't be moved.
Regards,
Per the additional information, I run your project in Visual Studio 2005.
After adding the required dll in the reference and changing the DropDownList value to design, as depicted in the attached image, I can successfully move the WebGrid.
Hi Glenn,
I'm try using IE 8.0 Browser as your image, It works fine. But when I use with IE 7.0, It doesn't work anymore.
Can you try again with IE7 Browser?
About our enviroment:
I'm using Webgrid 6.0.7200.205 , ASP.NET Framework 2.0 With AJAX 1.0.
Client Browser: IE 7.0.5730.11.
If This bug only appears in my webgrid version, please tell me the hotfix number that I can update to fix this problem.
Thanks,
The latest WebGrid 6 is build 218. You will also need to update your WebUI Framework to run the latest WebGrid successfully, please update your WebUI Framework 3 to build 705.
Unfortunately, we do not have IE7 installed in our environment, we try to simulate IE7 by setting IE8 browser mode to IE7 and the sample still runs without any issue.
