Hi Team,
I found one Scenario of webgrid where RemoveThisColumn is not working with Hierarchical Grid.
Take our normal Customer,Order scenario.I expanded the Customer Tree first and from the Order Grid I tried to remove a column from the context menu RemoveThisColumn. it was throwing a javascript error. See the screenshots

Unfortunately i can’t replicate your issue because it works well in here. Fyi, I am using webgrid version 7. What's yours? Unfortunately, if you use older WebGrid version, I need to say that we already discontinue any hotfixes for upcoming bug.
But if you use WebGrid 7, please ensure you have used the latest WebGrid and WebUI Framework hotfixes.

We are also using Webgrid 7 only.
We are using IE 9.
