Hi,
I have enabled shadowing on the web dialog boxes throughout my application. When a web dialog box loads on screen and is moved by a user, the shadow gets left behind on the screen. This doesn't happen all thge time. It seems to only happen if the WebDialogBox is moved quickly after it is shown on the page but then persists as an issue each time a webdialog box is shown until the user relogs in. I have attached a screen shot.
Regards,
Dermot
Does ‘enable shadowing on the web dialog boxes’ means enabling ‘EnableDropShadow’ property of WebDialogBox? If correct, then the error is quite odd. We have not received such reports so far. I tried to reproduce the problem in my local test by enabling ‘EnableDropShadow’ property of WebDialogBox in Basic.aspx sample file of WebDesktopSamples project and then move the WebDialogBox quickly after it is shown on the page, but my efforts was not successful. The shadow works fine, follow WebDialogBox movement.
I’m afraid that I might miss something during my attempt to reproduce the issue on my end. So I would need you to elaborate on your specific scenario and possibly send us a working simple sample that replicates the issue that we can use to observe the problematic behavior.
Hi Yudi,
Thanks for your reply, Yes it means EnableDropShadow. I have set this to true. I have tried to put together a demo probject to demonstrate this issue to you. But I cant replicate it either in my demo project. I can only replicate this in my actual project. It is not a major issue for me at the moment as it only happens in one scenario. If it becomes a bigger issue, I will look at trying to produce a demo project with the issue but for now I will close this thread.
Thanks,
Anytime the issue replicable in a simple demo project, please let us know.
