Hi,
I have an issue with the WebCombo. The Popup box works perfect in most cases but when there is not enough room for the popup box it moves above the WebCombo. I assume this is correct funtionality but the ResultBoxHeight which I have set at 300 doesnt show up at this height. It shows up at a height of approx 100. How do I get the resultbox to show at 300 when the popup appears above the webcombo. I have attached a screen shot for clarity.
Thanks,
Dermot
Hi Dermot,
I am able to replicate your issue from your project. I also tested with our unrelease hotfix and it seems resolved the issue. Please try to applied this hotfixes. FYI, this is still nightly/unrelease build which have not fully tested. Please let us know your feedback if you face issue regarding this hotfixes (disclaimer on).
Regards,Handy
I am not able to replicate the issue in my sample. Please look into my attached sample. If it is possible, can you replicate the issue in there?
Hi Handy,
Thanks for your quick response. I have attached a sample as requested. When the default page loads a WebDialogBox will show up containing your contentWithCombo.aspx page. When you use the webcombo from the position it loads at, it works. After this move the webDialogBox closer to the end of the web desktop and again use the WebCombo. You will see the issue. I have also attached a screen shot.
Thanks again,
What is the current WebDesktop build version that you used? Currently, I could not see the issue in here. But I got a different issue about the shadow. The content inside WebDialogBox is unable to see. I will try to apply the other hotfix for testing. (currently tested inside WebDesktop 3_0_7200 build version 309)
Hi Handy
I am using WebDesktop 3_0_7200 build version 308 when replicating this issue. I also doewnloaded the latest 3_0_7200 build version 309 hot fix and I can still replicate the issue. I am using IE8. Also be sure to drag the web dialog box down to the bottom of the web desktop otherwise the issue will not occurr. Hopefully this help you recreate the issue.
Regards,
I still could not replicate the issue. May I know your WebUIFramework and WebCombo build version as well?
The versions are as follows
ISNet.WebUI.WebCombo.dll = 4.0.7200.219
ISNet.dll = 3.0.5000.751
ISNet.WebUI = 3.0.5000.751
I am still unable to replicate your issue. Our latest WebUIFramework is 752. However, everytime I run your modified sample, WebDialogbox is covered by a shadow. The container cannot be seen. If it is not using IntegratedToWebDesktopManager, will the issue also appear? If not, I suggest you to use this workaround for a while.I ever reported about incorrect result box position for WebCombo about one week ago, but the position was not poped up to the top.
I downloaded the hot fix 752 and I still have this issue. I reckon the shadowing must be to do with EnableDropShadow being set to true on the webdialogbox, you could try setting this to false. Not using IntegratedWebDesktopManager property does not solve the issue either. Beyond this, there is nothing else I can add if you cannot replicate this issue.
Thanks for your help,
Hello Dermot,
Perhaps, I am missing something. Please see my attached video recording. I don't use IntegratedToWebDesktopManager. Even though it is poped up to the top, the position is correct. You can also show me your video as references. Thank you for your effort.
I have attached a recording of the issue. It doesnt look like you missed anything. I follow the same instructions as you followed in your video. I have also attached the project again with my dlls that I am using just incase they are different. Are you also using IE8?
Thanks for all your time and help with this issue.
Demrot
