Hi,
I have couple of questions concerning WebScheduler
1. I need to add one WebButton more to the NewEvent-form. How can I get this new button to use the same css-style (that is dynamically created in encoded .js-file for each control by it´s ID?) as the other buttons that are originally in the form.
2. How can I remove category color-combo, and validation for color selection from callOutManageCategories-WebCallOut? I don´t need color selection for Category.
3. WebScheduler is often crashing or behaving strange when I drag events from one time to another in WeekView. Sometimes event disappears after drag and drop, sometimes event don´t stay in the place where I drop it.
As instructions say, I have added class for table adapters that overload insert methods, so the Scheduler get´s new event´s ID after it is inserted.
Just now I tested in WeekView and after a couple of event moves it crashed with pop-up message saying: "Microsoft JScript runtime error: 'Parent' is null or not an object" and in code window is highlighted:" var va244 =v48910.Parent;"
I´m testing with XP SP3, IE8 and Firefox7 in VisualStudio 2008 and 2010 ASP.NET development server.
My website´s target framework is .NET Framework 3.5
ISnet reference build is 3.0.5000.1
Thanks in advance
-Olli-
Could you please kindly let us know the exact location and the style of WebButton as stated in your original post?
Categories combo is made from multiple-column WebCombo. Do you want to completely remove this combo? Or just remove un-necessary column from this WebCombo?
Does the issue is replicable with the sample files from WebScheduler samples project? If it does, is it possible for you to provide us with step-by-step guide that we can use to observe the problematic behavior?
1. Could you please kindly let us know the exact location and the style of WebButton as stated in your original post? Exact position of the new WebButton is currently on the left side of the Save & Close -button on EditingForm. EditingForm style is Win7, but what I´m after is that oval-shape that these WebScheduler buttons have. I would like this extra button I have added to have that same oval shape. Also if I could use that same shape also in other WebForms that I have in this project would be nice. 2. Categories combo is made from multiple-column WebCombo. Color combo can stay there, or if possible could be removed or made invisible. 3. Does the issue is replicable with the sample files from WebScheduler samples project? If it does, is it possible for you to provide us with step-by-step guide that we can use to observe the problematic behavior? I was trying WebScheduler samples but they did not work for some reason. I have tested changing WebScheduler settings like ServerSidePaging, ClientPagingMode and LoadOnDemandMode ->Suddenly crashing stopped. I can still get it crash by dragging event in WeekView to the left over the clock times, then same error appear. Also sometimes in TimeLine I had errors like "next sibling is null or not an object". But everything seems to work quite good now so I will get back on this subject if needed.
