I was able to apply the hotfix which did fix the grid and other issues in chrome. It did however create major issues in firefox.

I should of mentioned that we are using webgrid 8 and other older versions of your products.

If were to upgrade the asp.net suite is there backward compatibility with IE7 and IE8? Unfortunately some our major clients are still using these browsers.

Sorry, just realised this was a duplicate post. Bit annoying when I search for "Maximum call stack size exceeded" or other similar variations and didn't get any search results.

Only way to find was using "call stack size" Answer

Setting the height on the webtreeview itself or the div containing the webtreeview unfortunately made no difference on my end.

You sample does work.  If you try my attached sample it doesn't (WebForm1.aspx).

It maybe beacuse I am not binding to a xml file and I'm manually adding WebTreeViewNodes

Below is my testing environment

  • WebTreeView.NET 1.0 build number 233
  • WebUI.NET Frameowrk 3.0 build number 769
  • Browser: Google Chrome 10.0.648.205

I orginialy didn't test by resizing the browser but issue still exists.

I maximize the browser and put the tree view 1000px down the page.  If I go the last node in the tree which I need to scroll to to see I am unable to move it.  But if I select a node that is currently visible without having to scroll I am able to move it.
