Thanks Yudi,

I think we can close this bug.

Hello Yudi,

Unfortunately it is still not working. The delete problem is fixed, but there is another bug. I took the provided sample (http://81.20.83.35:1973/Intersoft/TEA.AccountBook.zip) and changed the Crosslight assemblies with the ones from the nightly build. I started the app on an Android device. After starting, I see the list of 3 items. I make a long click on the first item. After the context menu appears, I click on "Delete (Löschen)" and the item is gone without an error. Then I click on the new first item in the list, the "Delete (Löschen)" button gets active again. Clicking the "Delete (Löschen)" button causes an error (ItemListViewModel->ExecuteDelete(), Line 166, this.SelectedItems.Clear()).

Please, have a look and fix this follow bug, too.

Hello Yudi,

I think it works. On iOS it is fine. On Android the scrolling is fine, too. When I go to "Binding Mode" and enter some text in the text field and click in the number field the text under "one-way binding" is the same as entered in the text field. But when I enter text in the text field and press the hardware back button the text under "one-way binding" is not updated. Maybe this is the desired behaviour on Android, but the binding is definitely out of sync.

Hello Yudi,

I don't know if I understood you right, but the sample you attached does not contain a MapViewActivity. Your way to solve the problem is ok, but it is not the scenario I have.

I was not excatly enough when describing my problem. I asked for the MapActivity<T> because I want to have a drawer navigation and one navigation entry is named "Location". When clicking this drawer navigation entry, I want to navigate to a fragment or activity which is showing the MapView. Is this possible?

You made me curious about Crosslight 3. Is there already a roadmap available? In the 2014 roadmap it said that Crosslight 3 will focus on UI and will be available in later Summer. Is this true?

Hello Yudi,

Thanks for the assembly. I just tried it with my scenario and it worked. Great.

I really hope this will soon be stable and included within the next monthly update.

One more thing. My current scenario is: Having a drawer navigation with a list item "Scan". Clicking on the "Scan" item navigating to a new fragment. There having a scan button which opens the scanner. This works fine. Is it possible to navigate directly from the "Scan" item in the drawer to the barcode scanner without the scan button?

I tried to modify the Crosslight samples DataDrawerSample and MyInventory to do what I want. This is having a drawer navigation. selecting a navigation item. going to a grouped list of items. create, edit, delete the items in the list. I was not able to get it done. Sooner or later there are errors. To me it seems that the drawer navigation has an impact or maybe the fact that the list is now a fragment and not an activity. But this is just a guess, you are the experts and know it better. When modifying the MyInventory sample, the search did not work after switching to drawer navigation.

You already have a sample from me to reproduce the problem. Or try it yourself. I really need this to work, so please give this a high priority.

I am working with Crosslight for a month now and my opinion about the product is not very good. When I do something which is slightly different then the given samples it will not work. This is frustrating and costs a lot of time, energy and money.

Maybe you should take some time and make the product more stable and usefull in all scenarios and combinations possible with the parts and modules offered today.

CROS-373 is not mentioned in the fix list. How should I have a chance to see if this bug is fixed?

Unfortunately the nightly build is not working. I am not sure how you tested it. In my solution I included the zxing.net.mobile-1.4.5component through Visual Studio. This adds a reference to the Xamarin.Android.Support.v4 assembly. I replaced all Crosslight assemblies with the one's from the nightly build. Rebuilding the solution fails with error: The type 'Android.Support.V4.App.ListFragment' is defined in an assembly that is not referenced. You must add a reference to assembly 'Xamarin.Android.Support.v4, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71f3e3261ac778b5'. Though the Xamarin.Android.Support.v4 assembly is included. After doing some investigation I found the problem. See attached screenshot. You added the Xamarin.Android.Support.v4 assembly with a public key token (signed) to the Intersoft.Crosslight.Android assembly, but the component version of the Xamarin.Android.Support.v4 assembly and the original version from Xamarin have a public key token = null (unsigned). So use an unsigned version (which would be the better solution) or deliver the signed version.

Will there be an update of the project wizard, so that the Xamarin.Android.Support.v4 assembly is added to new projects instead of the Mono.Android.Support.v4 assembly?

Please, correct the existing problem and send me another nightly build.

When do you expect this to be stable? I really need this feature in my app.

Is this bug already fixed?

What is the current state of the bug, what priority has this bug, how can I check this?
