Hi John and Henrik,

Thanks for your patience. This issue has been moved to a higher priority at the time being. We will keep you informed when the backlog is implemented, estimated in a day or two.

Dear Rajiv,

Thank you for evaluating Premier Studio, and welcome to Intersoft Community!

Crosslight Server WebAPI is currently designed for use with Crosslight client apps, although you can actually consume the WebAPI from any platforms since we implemented the WebAPI based on OData 4 specification.

In your case for WebUI, you can trigger the WebAPI method from JavaScript by simply creating an XHR request thatconnects to the WebAPI endpoint address. You will then receive the response in JSON.

However, we do plan to support Crosslight WebAPI from WebUI natively in the upcoming release, specifically for data controls such as WebGrid and WebCombo. Could you inform which WebUI products you're interested to use with the WebAPI?

Hope this helps,

Hi Jimmy,

Yes, we agree about Nuget providing great developer experience for updates. Good news, the Nuget distribution for Crosslight is planned for the upcoming release. We'll soon update our roadmap page and include this feature along. Many thanks for your feedback!

Hope this helps.

Hello,

Please use the attached License Manager. Let us know if you're able to see Crosslight 4 license.

Hope this helps.

Hello Thomas, Mihail,

Thanks for reporting the license manager issues.

It appears there is newer License Manager that has addressed the problem. If you encounter the issues again in the future, or for any customers experiencing similar problem in this release, please use the newer License Manager in the attachment of this post.

Hope this helps.

Hello Mihail,

The License Manager should work with Crosslight 4 since it's version independent. The new products will be auto-discovered as they become available through installer. In certain cases, the new products are somehow failed to be discovered which we aren't able to reproduce thus far.

Could you check if the following node existed in your registry? Either HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Intersoft Solutions\Crosslight\4.0.5000 or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Intersoft Solutions\Crosslight\4.0.5000.

Thomas' workaround is near correct, but here's the solution that will actually work:
- Uninstall Mobile Studio
- Delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Intersoft Solutions
- Delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Intersoft Solutions

Typically those two nodes will be deleted during uninstall, but the Windows Installer is just unreliable in some rare cases (such as when it doesn't have sufficient privilege etc). And that's a truly clean state. Reinstall Mobile Studio again should solve the License Manager issue.

Hope this helps.

Hello David,

Thanks for your feedback, we truly appreciate it.

As I mentioned in my earlier post, our product development is mostly driven by customer's feedback and industry's needs for every platform we supported. That said, as you should have aware, the demands for Silverlight and WPF platforms have declined significantly over the past years. As the result, we received much less feedback from our customers, or from the community itself. In deed, the declined feedback on ClientUI has naturally impacted its roadmap and development. However, this could change with the rise of Windows 10, hoping that the developer community will be interested back in the Windows platform. Btw, on which platform you build the most, supposedly WPF?

With regards to the DevForce installers, I have forwarded your message to our installation engineer. We will reviewif the mentioned DevForce setup file is compatible and usable to be integrated in our installer, and if so, we'll integrate the new installers in the upcoming August monthly release iteration.

We will continue delivering improvements that make impact to our customers instead of blindly creating controls that have little value or demands. We value and appreciate your feedback, so if you have anything in mind regarding specific controls/features that you really wish to see in ClientUI, please drop us a line, and we'd love to hear from you.

Hope this helps.

Hello Mihail,

Could you try to run the License Manager with administrator privilege? You can do so by right clicking on the file in Windows Explorer, then choose Run as Administrator.

Please let me know if the issue persisted.

Hope this helps.
