Question about Tooltip Of chart

Hello,

I apologize but the category is not implemented yet. The available formatting up to now as the following:

Format Description
<label> Show the data label
<value> Show the data value
<index> Show the index of the data
<total> Show the total data value
<percent> Show the percentage of current value

If you really need it, you can always make a future request on your TDN and I will inform the developer after you have made it.

Getting error when grouping in a Hierarchical grid with a row expanded.

Please try the new nightly build of WebGrid 7 build 406. Let me know if the issue still occured.

Question about Tooltip Of chart

Hello,

You can do that by editing out the tooltip formatting.

Go to WebGrid Designer, Pivot Charting tab, Select the Series then Column from the list box on the left. Scroll down until you see the Tooltip Formatting under Interactivity. Then delete the <label> tag, leave it <value> only to show a result as you wanted.

auto resize column gridpresenter and save layout silverlight

Hi Richard,

If you want to change the row, you can use the Row Template. but I don't think it can change the width of the grid container automatically.

I apologize I'm not really understand about this one whether the users is the developer or the end user? As far as I know once you have compile the Silverlight project into XAP, the layout will always stay as you build, the end user won't be able to do resize.

Please dont hesitate to ask and let me know if you had a different means.

WebGrid - changing values of cell client side

Hi Tenika,

You can add another parameter to your code, like below:

selectedRow.GetCells().GetNamedItem("TaxCodeDesc").SetText("Test here", true, true);

selectedRow.GetCells().GetNamedItem("TaxCodeDesc").SetValue("0", true, true);

But it will only set the Text and the Value, It will not save to your database. Since its already No Edit default behavior to not change any data.

If you want to change the database as well you can use either your work around and using ForceNoEdit method. You can refer to our documentation for ForceNoEdit method.

filter in a grid display value instead of text

Terribly apolize, I was on leave permission on a few days.

I have found the problem. Looks like it is only works when using a master page. I have contacted the developer to review this issue again.

WebGrid layout manager bug?

Hello,

The WebStyleManager and LayoutManager only used for styling. When you had another project and want to use similar style, you can easily apply the style that had been in your previous project. It will not affect the size of the control since its purpose is only for styling. Therefore, the width and height will be ignore.

How can I get data from resource?

Hi Feyza,

The Database Wizard is used for creating a new database. As I recall your previous post, you already have the database. In my opinion what is left is only to bind your database to the WebScheduler. There should be no problem whether you use a Windows Authentication or SQL Server Authentication, the problem is remain on the connection of your server.

If you don't mind I can remote to your desktop to investigate more your issue. I will be available from Monday til Friday, 08.00 - 17.00 (GMT+7).
