Hi Yudi

Thanks for reply.

The local build works fine (VS2010). Only on the MSBuild Server, I get this error.
UserRegistrationContext is defined in the automatically generated *.Web.g.cs (comes from the predefined UserRegistrationService). Therefore, I do not know what reference could still missing...

I just noticed that I have the same problem with the Microsoft Silverlight business application template!

Hi Handy

Visual Studio provides a range of testing types and tools for testing software application, e.g. Unit test, manual test, coded ui test, etc.  I want write some unit tests which calls a method with the appropriate parameters, exercises it and compares the results. The aim is to run the tests automated in the TFS.

Have you ever used unit testing in silverlight applications? What "state of the art" on testing silverlight applications?

Thanks

Hi Yudi

Where can I find the connection string from the ASPNETDB in ClientUI MVVM Data Application?

Still no feedback from the developers?

Michael

Hi Handy

Thanks for reply!

1. Yes, I have seen that.

2. I want no grouping by default. How can I do this in xaml?

3. Can I customize the context menu, eg. without "copy rows"?

Best regards

Michael

no feedback from the developers?

Thanks for the feedback. I am very interested on feedback from the dev team.

In the meantime, I have published the Business Application (incl. ASPNETDB) with integrated VS2010 Web Deploy method (please have a look on attached file, you can see the settings). This works very well. With the SQL Server Management Studio I have access to ASPNETDB on the Deployment Server. The application runs without problems as long as no connection is established to ASPNETDB (eg registration or login).

But where can I change the connection string for ASPNETDB? In any case not in Web.config!
The application on the deployment server tries to access to the App_Data directory. But this directory does not exist...

Hi

Sorry, I have an additional question.

After I copied the templates, I can see the project templates. Thanks for solution.

If I click on Add | New Item, I can not see the Intersoft Items. Where can I find the Item Templates? The folder C:\Users\[local administrator]\My Documents\Visual Studio 2010\Templates\ItemTemplates\Visual C#  is empty!

Regards

Michael

Hi Riendy

You've misunderstood me.

The installation on the local administrator was only a test. I wanted to test it, if I see the templates.

I have to work with my domain user, but the templates are not visible. Not even, if I install WebUI under the domain user!

Do I also reinstall VS 2010 with the domain user?

What I did (to repeat):
1. VS2010 installed as a local administrator
2. WebUI installed as a domain user -> templates are not visible
3. WebUI uninstalled
4. WebUI installed as a local administrator -> Templates are visible (only a test - but I can not work as a local administrator!)

What is the recommended installation procedure?

Thanks for tip about the warning.

Hi Riendy

I get the installer from the Developer Network.

I've spoken with the administrator. He has VS2010 installed as a local administrator. I have installed WebUI as domain user (run as administrator).

If I install WebUI also a local administrator, then I see the templates. But I do not see the templates, if I logon as domain user. I must work as domain user...

Which account should I use to install WebUI? What do you recommend me?

I always get a warning (see attached file) when I open a VS2010 sample, e.g. WebUI Studio for Silverlight | Development Samples | Business Application

Thanks for help

Michael
