Hi,

May I know what doctype that you use? If you use HTML, you could try to use XHTML doctype. Just change the code to:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">

......

</html>

Hope it helps.

Hi,

Here's I attach the sample based on your sample to show the column through the clientside javascript. I changed the name for the last 2 column, because they all have the same name. Hope this sample helps.

Hi Michael,

I have re-tested your sample and able to replicate your issue using WebGrid6. And I have checked and tested that your issue is fixed by using the latest WebGrid6 and Framework hotfix. So I suggest you to update your WebGird6 and your framework to the latest hotfix.

Hope it helps.

Hi,

I am terribly sorry that I don't really understand the issue here. I have tried your sample. But you put no code in the ShowMoreColumn function, so nothing happened when I click the button. Also, you set the visiblity of the last two column of your grid to false, so the column that showed only the first three columns.

Could you explain what you want me to check in more detail? Or is what you're trying to say that you want me to show you how to hide and show the column on button clicked? And since you name the file FirefoxIssue, is it happen in Firefox only?

Hi,

In your sample, you send us 2 Pages: FirefoxIssue.aspx and Default12.aspx. Which one is your issue? Is it the FirefoxIssue.aspx? But when I tried the button, nothing changed or happened in the grid. If the problem is in the Default12.aspx, I can't find the button in the page.

Also, is the issue you're facing is in Firefox browser? Could you provide us with detail information about the issue?

Thank you.

Hi,

Terribly sorry for the inconvenience, the HeaderWrapDefault property has not been listed in our documentation. But HeaderWrapDefault is used to control whether the text in the column header should be wrapped by default. If set to false, then the text will remain in a single line even though it doesn't fit in the space.

Lili Khiung
