Hi Erwin, I'll try again and in case all the steps won't allow me to migrate my current project can you connect to my server by MS remote desktop if I will give you all the parameters to do it?
Thanks.
Regards.

Hi Erwin, I’ll give you more information:

On the development machine I always install only the design licenses for each component and unless in WebUi 2016 R1 something changed it works perfectly fine.

In Visual Studio 2015, after deleting the dlls IsNet from bin directory, I select add reference, in order to add the dlls for each WebUi component, afterwards I browse the new dll for WebUi 2016 and click add but VS doesn’t add the dll under bin directory. May be I should delete the project’s directory under:

C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\Temporary ASP.NET Files

What about installing side by side WebUi 2015 R1 and WebUi 2016 and after applying all changes remove WebUi 2015 R1?

Thanks for supporting me.

Regards.

Hi Erwin, I have executed the migration but I experienced the following problems:

·         The working website went in “try mode” no license

·         Browsing from VS 2015 no way to update bin directory with the 2016 R1 dlls

·         Applying “register resources” didn’t produce any change

I did the following steps:

·         Deleted all current licenses codes of WebUI 2015 R1

·         Uninstalled WebUI from control panel programs and features

·         Removed all the assemblies for WebUI 2015

·         Installed WebUI 2016 R1

·         Registed licenses for WebUI 2016 R1

·         Open my working website and deleted under bin all dlls

·         Tried to reassign reference to dlls of WebUI 2016 R1 but VS 2015 didn’t apply the changes.

I have rolled back my server so I can start back from scratch all the migration process. If the way I’m trying is full of pitfalls, please tell me which is the right and tested one.

At the meantime I will read the solution suggested in your answer.

Thank you.

Regards.

Replicating the same steps that in the above environment raise several problems in this one evething seems to work fine. So far so good!
Consider the request solved, any advice will be welcome.
Tahanks.

Hi Yudi, no luck solving the TeamViewer problem if you will give me your public IP I will configure the firewall to allow you to connect my web server.
Just to gain time I'm attaching the list of isnet assemblies installed.

Hi Yudi, I'm Intersoft customer since year 2003 and any time I install your development tools I have to fight in order to setup it properly, with a huge waste of time. At the moment my development server is running with a fresh installallation of all environments and just one web applications to test Intersoft tools latest release. I just built one Web Form with isdatasouce and webgrid and I'm getting all this problems/errors, I don't want to think what will happen using most of WebUi tools. Can you connect my server by teamviewer and test all the WebUi installed tools in my environment? I have the sensation that you never tested WebUi in this environment otherwise how can a simple webform produce all this errors.
Please let me know if we can solve by team viewer.
Thank you.

My best regards.

Hi Yudi, now the error 500.23 disappeared but I'm getting the following errors/problems:

MS IE 11 - see the attachment screenshot shown from the debbuger

Firefox 43.xx - the filter icons aren't displayed, only dots .... instead.

Moreover, using WebGrid designer I got the error: Intersoft componet Editor for VS 2012 is either not installed or corrupted. ...

I tried  solving the problem applying the solution found in the comunity date February 27,2013 but the error persists.

Attached web.config + debbuger screenshot.

Thanks.

Regards.
