Hi Ellpan,
It's not the behavior caused by AutoComplete. To get all the values, you just need to set AlwaysShowAllRowsOnDropdown="True". You can find it in WebCombo's Properties > LayoutSettings. I hope this help, and please let me know if you need another help.

You can install the latest hotfix automatically by using Update Manager. Please go to window start > Intersoft WebUI Studio [your version] > WebUI Studio for ASP.NET > Update Manager > Scan for Updates. But if you want to do manual update, you need to download the installer in My Components of your TDN account. The following link consist a very helpful step for doing manual update.
I have test on your code, but I still can't replicate your issue. After you apply hotfix and still find the issue, can you send me the attachment of you sample code? (.aspx & .aspx.cs ; to avoid broken file, please compress both files first). Thank you.

There should be no problem when you migrate to WebGrid 7, since the newest version has lot of feature that you won't be find at WebGrid 6 including better performance, previous fixing, and also moreover new great feature you will find.

We have some sample for hierarchical mode on server side. You can find it in WebGrid's Tutorials. Kindly go to Intersoft WebUI Studio > WebUI Studio for ASP.NET > WebGrid > C# Tutorial. There are some sample that may be useful for your need, e.g in folder V3.1 > LoadOnDemand.aspx, or V4.0 > BindingHierarchicalObjects_LoadOnDemand.aspx. I hope this sample can help you.
One more thing, the best way to bind the grid is in OnInitializeDataSource event and using
e.DataSource = "your database". We didn't recommended to use WebGrid.DataSource and WebGrid.DataBind.
I am sorry but it's not possible to use different dataset for parent and child in hierarchical WebGrid because there will be no relation between parent and child table.

May I know do you use ISDataSource at deployment or development server? Because the ISDataSource Trial version can only use at development server.
Could you attach me a simple sample file or html structure of your page? Because your issue not occured using my sample.

It seems that it happen to be a strange behavior. You can do the following steps:
- close your VS program > clear all files in 'Temporary ASP.NET' > run iisreset, as I written before
- Go to Run > type 'inetmgr' > right click on CommonLibrary > Manage Application > Advance Settings > Application Pool > change to Classic .NET AppPool.
