FYI, WebPaneManager does not support xhtml doctype. So, I think your issue occurs because you are using xhtml doctype. Please ensure you used HTML doctypeinstead of XHTML doctype.

I've looked at your sample, but I cannot run it because you do not include the data. But from my observation, I do not see anything wrong with the configuration of your webcombo. That means, it should be able to run well.

I am also attaching a sample that you have requested. I am using the Northwind Access database, so please add the Northwind Access database to the App_Data folder before you run my sample. Hope this helps

Hi Soniya,

1. I can replicate this issue, and now please try to set height and width the resultbox of webcombo become one (1) which in my sample I have set it to 0. You can set it in parameter of the ResultBox.Show(left, top, width, height) method.
2. I cannot replicate this issue. I tried to run the same sample with you in IE8 and Istill able to see the dropdown button after I click it.

I tried to modified my sample that i have given to you. To open a dialog box on event click of drop down button, i use OnShowDropDown event. And i use ResultBox.Show method to hide the resultbox. Please check my sample and let me know if it's not as you mean. Hope this helps.
