Hello Piere,
If it works fine in development, then it should also work fine in deployment server.Please remove all your project bin folder in your deployment and re-copy again from development server. Maybe there is something that you missed.Also, please let me know your deployment environment server details.
Regards,Handy
However I am unable to install it on our development webserver.
Is something else required to deploy the fix? Do I have to modify my web.config file?
Is it deployment or development?
Yes, it is true that in deployment server, you should not install our product.You only need to copy your project and insert runtime license key in order to deploy. Please ensure you have used the latest assemblies in your project bin folder for the best result.
For further information about deployment, please refer into this link.
Hello,
You can send us your web.config. Please ensure that you discard information regarding our runtime license key before attach the files. It would better if you can help us by sending a simple runable project that replicates this issue.
Hello Yousif,
Ok, I also got your mail. We will continue the discussion in email.
Hello Dave,
Based on my investigation for your sample, you can get your following group collection in the current cell (child).
Please try to see the following code.
WebGrid1.GetSelectedObject().ToRowObject().Parent.GetGroupChildRows();
Or, You can also obtain the position.
WebGrid1.GetSelectedObject().ToRowObject().Parent.Position
Hope this codes help.
My colleague, Andi phoned you yesterday. But it seems no one answered. So, he left a message. Have you received his message?Fyi, the phone issue is still under investigation.
Please ensure that it refers into the correct path. Or, you can send me your simple runable project that replicates this issue. I will help you see what caused this issue and modify it for you.
Hello Frank,
Piere has tested the hotfix and can run it well. Perhaps, you have some scenario or sample that still can persist the issue. So, I suggest you to let send us a simple working sample that replicates this issue. With this way, we can investigate your issue.
Also, please do not post with capital letter. We can see all your post in here. So, I think you can post it with normal word. We also apologize if there is any misunderstanding.
Ok, I created a task #839 to our developer teams. Thank you for the feedback.
Thank you for waiting. I have discussed this issue with our developer teams. It seems this scenario is the limitation of Client binding when using webservice.Exporting won't work when binding mode is set to webservice, wcf or astoria. This is because the datasource is handled externally from other external source, then return the data to client side directly to be processed.
As for exporting, the data source needs to be on the server side in order to export the data and perform additional server side binding and processing.
