Hello Eric,

The slider issue has been fixed as I told you before.
However, I remembered that  you're using WebGrid 6.
We have discontinued to support WebGrid 6 which means there would be no longer hotfixes for this product.
I suggested you to upgrade into WebGrid 7 for the slider issue.

Handy

Hi Eric,

We could not say that is bug. As design, we have our default mechanism to encode the xml before sending it to server. The incompability might be true only for some scenario, which does not allow such characters. But commonly, 99.9% others get it work so far.
We would like to see the details of your scenario first before can decide what is the issue.

Or, you can use ClientBinding. ClientBinding would not post anything to server which should be greate advantage in your scenario. If you need an Ajax process, you can try to integrate it with our control 'WebFlyPostBackManager'.

Hello Frank,

I already told you my suggestion before. You can make it work without any code. You only need to resize its container to be larger.

E.g Previously if WebGrid is placed under div container with height 500px. You can resize it into 600 or more. I believe, the lost focus in your scenario would works perfectly.

Or you can send me a simple runable sample that replicates your issue and I will help you to modify the sample.

Handy

Hello,

Unfortunately, I could not downgrade sql in here. You can try to create a simple dummy database such as the structure and run it. It does not cost big effort since it is only a simple table.

Hello Jerry,

I am sorry that I was not unclear to explain it to you.
It is getting called twice only in ClientBinding Paging scenario.
Paging needs total count before it can load the records.

Hello Nicolas,

To hide the footer and indicator, you can set FooterFrameStyle and ViewIndicatorStyle CustomRules properties as display:none
However, if you would like to hide them via button click in clientside, you will need to obtain the element and set style display:none.

Hello,

It should be no problem when have 2 primary keys in your table. When bind with 2 primary keys/composite keys, WebGrid would automatically detect it. You would not need to specify DataKeyField properties.
Please see my attached sample. It should work fine. For Add,Update and Delete scenario, you should use Optimistic Concurency in your SQLDataSource.

Hello Nick,

You can try the normal server binding sample and enable client binding properties. When running in the browser, please use HTTP watch, you can see that JSON is generated.

Hello Jeremy,

Unfortunately, this is a default behaviour. That is the mechanism when using client binding. There is no other way to integrate into one.
