Hello,

That should not be happened. I tested your structure with your current structure and it shows fine. Please let me know if you run in HTML or XHTML doctype.

Hello Suhas,

There are several ways to use RowsCount method. However, I would like to know your code snippet first.
e.g If I simply use WebGrid1.RootTable.GetRowsCount(), it would not show error. In your code, you used API row. What exactly this API row?

Handy

Hello Peter,

Surely now our developer teams are working for all bug fixes.

Hello Ajay,

That should be not happened if other steps are correct. Can you try to see which parts that missing?
If not, can you try to send me a runable project same as before for further investigation?

Regards,
Handy

Hello,

I suspect that your project might not have required assemblies such as framework, WebDesktop or other assemblies. For quick test, try to create a project based on our template project then placed your sample in those project and let us know if you still get error or not. If this does not help, please send us a simple runable sample that replicates your issue for further investigation.

Handy

Hello David,

It should use method ShowDialog(). For further details, you can learn about WebDialogBox within our WebDesktop samples.

Hello Terry,

It seems that was a namespace issue. Can you let us know what is your project name? You can also see properties in each project and see if the namespace is correct or not.

Hello David,

It is not possible to do that because when clicked that sign, it should load child rows.
But if you want to show your user control, I suggest you to load it in WebDialogBox. You can call script to load WebDialogBox in our expand client side event.

Handy

Hello,

Ok, Let me tried to explain your questions.

1.in http://www.intersoftpt.com/Support/WebGrid/KB/All/#permalink=Hide-a-Column-using-Clientside-Script i saw "WG40"... what is it

The code shows about our WebGrid API. You can find and read it in "Switching to new Client side API".
This API can help you to get the proper object or element without too many codes. We provide more elegant approach to use them.

2.in the webgrid samples, i saw this code

if (SampleManager.IsLiveDemo()) SampleUtility.DisableDataOperation(sender);

Our live sample also has many operations for edit, delete, insert and update. If the database gets modified too many, it would be bad for user experience. User might not see what the original purpose of the sample functionality. This is the function of the code snippet.

Handy

Hello,

Here, I send you a sample for that scenario. In my sample, I gave you how to do it via dropdownlist and WebCombo.

Handy
