Hello,

Forgive me for not being detail. As I said before, It is not a bug. Each browser have their own mechanism in rendering. In IE, it is sensitive for rendering table. To make the layout better, sometimes it needs to add style layout:fixed for the table. That's what I added in your sample.
After adding those style, it would automatically render in proper width. The last steps I did only customize the column width to make a better layout.

Handy

Hello Shawm,

It because each browser have their own mechanism to render inside tables. So, we need to adjust the styles. I have modified your .ascx. It should work fine.

Handy

Hello,

I could not replicate the issue in here. It works fine. I attached my sample. Please help me to modify the sample so it can reproduce the issue. Btw, regarding your last question, I think it is not possible to be moved outside of the main window.

Regards,
Handy

Hello Tony,

I am sorry for the late response. I was not at office at previous week. As I said before, it worked fine. Your latest sample project also works fine in here (deployment and development). I enclose the screenshots about my IIS settings. Perhaps, we have different settings in our AppPool?

Regards,
Handy

Hello Shawn,

Can you let me know your page structures and styles as well? I will try to follow them and replicate the issue in here. If it is in simple page, it works fine. So, I think there must be some styles, container, etc that need to be used for replicating this issue.
Btw, we also have WebCallOut control for this functionality.

Regards,
Handy

Hello Peter,

It has been fixed in our WebUIStudio2011R2SP1 installer. As far I have been confirmed by Martin, you got issue that WebGrid shows incorrect render height when loading records. It would show correctly after refresh WebGrid.
This issue has been fixed in our SP1. Please confirm if you also have tried it or not.

Handy

Hello,

It works correctly in here. Can you see the issue in my sample? Looking to your screenshot, it seems the page is under master page and some containers. It would be more helpful if you can provide us a runable sample that can replicate the issue. Also, please let me know the current Firefox version that you used.

Handy
