Is it possible to update WebProgressBar on server side?

Hi

 

that is way more complex then i want.

I just want to trigger a step on the client side, from the server side.

I have a task that will delete many items, that occurs on the server side (from a webgrid) and i want to show the progress of the delete.

Hi

 

that doesnt work.  I get:

Microsoft JScript runtime error: Object doesn't support property or method 'SetText'

FYI i am able to enable and disable the same items, but just not change the text.

I am adding the code below

WEP1.Panes.GetNamedItem(pane).PaneItems.GetNamedItem(item).SetText(theText);

This is a WebExplorerBarItem and its deep in other panes.

Hi

 

Ok now i need to set on the client side the TargetURL.  The following code doesnt work, what am i doing wrong?

 

explorerPane.Panes.GetNamedItem("bar_VirtualServer").PaneItems.GetNamedItem("itm_ModifyVM").GetElement().TargetURL = "ModifyVM.aspx?ID=" + vmGUID;

Plus image doesnt show

Hi,

Yes, we have that in the system.  Actually if you click in the spot where the plus should be, then it shows, its just by default it doesnt.  So it did show in R1, and in R2 it stopped showing, but if you click where it should be, it shows the plus, and it shows it as 3 different pluses (its screwing up the image placement).

WebGrid only uses first 50 rows

Hi,

 

I can not give you a more simple version, as its a complex web site and it cant just be removed.

Why is it when we reference the webgrid it only has a reference to the first 50?  This should not be happening, and there must be a logical reason for this.

Hi,

 

OK BIG BUG!

When we use this method, (LoadLayoutFromFile) and then we sort (click on a header), all the formating gets lost!

What is happening?

Hi,

 

while that works great, it doesnt work for sub tables in a hiarchial grid.

It appears that the top table shows fine, but when we expand a sub table, its all screwed up.

Any ideas?

Hi,

 

What i want to do is load a layout from a file.  It appears that you could have this ability, since in the designer you save styles to a file, but it appears you must apply them inline.  What i want to do is load the style from a file.
