Hi Glenn,
Thanks for your response.
Pl find attached my solution. I'v overridden GetData method to pull data from google calendar instead of database. Similarly I'm trying to save in google calendar in Insert method. When testing this, pl don't forget to change google account details at respective places (search for @gmail.com).
regards,
D2
Hi Julia,
Pl find attached my code. Pl note that I'm pulling events from google calendar instead of database hence you may need to add your test google username/password in order to run.
Hi Handy,
thanks for your response.
Yes, I understand that WebScheduler doesnt support google calendar. I just wanted your opinion on the best way to implement. I have following approach in mind:
1) Pull Google Calendar info in the webscheduler database, rest of the things would be taken care by the web scheduler framework. This would require least amount of changes on the webscheduler part but would be slow as for each refresh/change it would go to google calendar to insert in the webscheduler db and then retrieve/display from the db.
2) Can I plugin my code somewhere in the webscheduler so that instead of reading/saving from/to db, it would go to google calendar?
Pl note that in both cases above I'm writing my own code hence not expecting webscheduler to just work out-of-box.
thanks for your advise in advance.
