Hi Hans,

This is not what we want to do. We need to be able to intercept the click on the funnel icon in order to open our own filter input window. And then do a fly postback in order to apply this filter on the data source.

We do not want that the webgrid applies any filter, we would like to do it on the data source directly.

Regards,

Alex

Here is my sample

Hi Yudi,

I tried using VistaCalendar, it works only if I leave AllowEdit to true; In my case, I must leave it at false.

When AllowEdit is false and I try to open the calendar, it crashes on a null exption in VistaCalendar.js trying to access this.Grid.CultureInfo which is null.

Alex

Hi Hans,

We tried CalendarCombo, but it still allows the user to enter a date manually and to possibly crash if the format is not valid.

We did not find CalendarDropdown in the options. Are you sure it is available?

Do you know if it is possible to use our own control and then bypass this error by managing it by ourselves ?

Regards,

Alex

Hi Yudi,

I did not receive your email, can you send it back?

Hi Yudi,
Is there a way we can speak on the phone to see what are our options?

Hi,
Are you still working on that case?
Can we expect to have any news soon?

Please contact me for the details.

Alex

Hi Yudi,
Thank you for your answer, unfortunately this workaround is not possible in our case. We do not have control on how the user will move the webtexteditor, because it is encapsulated in a container that is movable by drag and drop. Also there might be multiple webtexteditor in the same page in different containers. The sample we sent was only a "simple" way to replicate the problem, our case is much more complicated than that.

Are you able to attach the webtexteditor to an event in order to detect that the contentWindows is set to null and then relaunch the initialization of the webtexteditor?

Because this problem is urgent for us, can you give us a way to do that reinitialization by ourselves as a workaround while you work on that problem. Again, how can it be fixed this week? We are willing to pay for the incident if needed because it is causing us data loss and we must find a solution ASAP.
Regards,
Alex

Hi,
When can we expect a fix for this?
Is there a way to ensure it will be done this week?

Again, actually we loose data when this problem occurs and it corrupts our database. This is really urgent.

Alex
