Glenn,

Please clarify something for me.  Are you saying that for those who have 2009 r2, 2010 r1 will be available as an upgrade via Update Manager?

Would you kindly add this to a future feature request please?  We'd prefer using a standard tooltip because there is no overhead to adding it.

In the meanwhile, is there an example you can provide for how to integrate a WebCallOut into a specific cell please?  Thank you.

I tried to duplicate for flash video but now I can't get it to happen.  Good grief.

We're going to upgrade anyway but we want to be sure that the new version won't cause issues with our current 2009 r2 controls.  We're on a time crunch so this makes it a bit of a risk to upgrade in the middle of this month.  I hope you understand why we'd like to see this fix in 2009 if at all possible please.  Thank you.

Glenn,

I just realized you said the fix will be in 2010 R1.  We need it fixed in 2009.  We can't just commit to 2010 R1 right away without regression testing as we have many of your controls customized since they do not provide what we need "out of the box," so it's not realistic for you guys to assume and force your customers to updgrade right away.  Please make sure the bug fix is available in 2009.  We have to have this and we need it by mid August.

After removing the 2nd line of code in the above post, I attempted to remove the 2nd line which was successfull.  However, I then edited the post again to remove the extra spaces and line left by the removed line of code and when I saved the post, you can see it then duplicated my "[EDIT]" line that was there.

I already fixed the first post so it's moot at this point.  How about below.  I copied and pasted this from Visual Studio.

<RootTable DataKeyField="ProductID">

[EDIT] I only pasted one line above and now am going to remove the bottom one.

...I hope that we can have your detail structure include the masterpage to replicate the issue. Because this issue is not easy to replicate.
Btw, after used your workaround, does the issue happen every time?
How about the footer issue in this thread? Does my workaround help you?

Handy

You have our exact master page layout in this thread: Grid-Not-Sizing-Correctly-Vertically-After-Latest-Update

I'm not sure what workaround you're referring to.  I haven't used any workaround yet.  The grid just uses the normal footers.  I've been working on a possible solution to infuse the code for the "Balance" line in the same cell but haven't implemented any of that yet.

I can't really use your workaround as it's client side and would require much more overhead than infusing the html directly on the server side BEFORE the grid is resized.

Your snapshot doesn't show the first post.  That's where the problem is per my, " See my original post how it has two of the code lines?" in my first reply above.  I modified the first post now to show the line as a code block.

Handy,

Today, the grid is deciding not to resize correctly and now the status bar is being pushed down (see attached).  Why would this start happening?  It was working fine per my previous snapshots and I've made no style, grid or page changes.  Ideas?  This is very frustrating.
