Intersoft empty Website project template is not available in visual studio 2008

Hello,

Intersoft empty website project is created only for Visual Studio 2010. The Item template that is available in Visual Studio 2008, where you can get Intersoft AppForm by right-clicking  the project and Add New Item. That is the location where you can find Intersoft Item Template.

Have you followed all instructions in this video tutorial? What resources that you are not able to get?

Column misalignment with grouping

Hello,

I'm afraid I couldn't replicate your issue on my end. I have tried to run grouping.aspx in IE7 browser and set to DefaultMasterXHTML. But I didn't get the alignment issue when I group the grid.

I'm using WebGrid 7.0.7200.429. You might want to get the latest build version of your WebGrid.

Aqua problem

Hello,

The WebAqua sample works fine using FireFox on my end.

Could you try to access the WebAqua sample from here? What is the error that you get?

I'm using FireFox 3.6. However, you will need to install Microsoft Silverlight in order to run the sample. The sample should work in any browser.

auto grow webtab page container

Hello,

It is not possible to customize WebTab container's height according to its content. It's because WebTab has its own fixed width and height. The other reason is because WebTab is using container and you can only depend on the WebTab's container by setting its width and height to 100%. This is possible. To depend on the content, I'm afraid it's not possible.

UxGrid with WCF Ria Why Batch Update is Not Allowed ?

Hello Balachander,

Bacth Update is not available while using WCF RIA because WCF RIA doesn't support what we called Client-side caching. Therefore, it will retrieve all data from the server-side and overide all changes in the UXGrid.

Client-side caching is needed when we perform Batch Update. Since it is not supported in WCF RIA SP1, then we couldn't use the behavior of Batch Update process. However, DevForce does support client-side caching and that is why we can implement Batch Update when using DevForce.
