Hello,
Please forgive me for lack of understanding about the reported problem. Could you please explain your scenario in more details?
If you want to add new row, by default you simply press SHIFT + ENTER and the grid will add the new row. Or, you can set NewRowLostFocusAction to AlwaysPrompt. Therefore, each time you add new row and then lost focus, it will prompt you whether you want to add the new row and cancel the operation. Below is the code sample:
<LayoutSettings AllowAddNew="Yes" NewRowLostFocusAction="AlwaysPrompt"> </LayoutSettings>
Hope this helps. Thank you.

Hello Steve,
I'm afraid it's not possible to do that because we have used totally different Framework in WebGrid 7. We have implemented quite breakthrough enhancements in the latest control such as using SmartWebResources which is not available yet in WebGrid 4.
Thank you.
It is quite troublesome if you want to upgrade your application from WebGrid 4 to WebGrid 7. We have made a lot of enhancements in the latest WebGrid 7 and I'm afraid the structure and Framework are different compared to the old WebGrid 4. We have used WebUI Framework version 3 with ASP.NET 4.0. Therefore, I'm afraid it is not possible to upgrade your application from WebGrid 4 to WebGrid 7.
It is recommended that you create a new application project using our latest WebGrid 7.
Your Welcome, Mr. Darren.

Yes, I'm aware about changing the doctype or browser is not an option for your client.
Currently, I'm unable to provide any workaround for this issue. However, I will help you raising this issue to the developer team, so that they can provide a workaround/fix for this one.
I will create a report to the team about this issue and I will let you know when I get the update from them.
It is because the number of data is smaller than the grid's height when the page loads. You can set VirtualPageSize to "20" instead of "10", and the scrollbar will always appear.
Currently, WebDragDropExtender doesn't support WebTreeView control to be integrated with WebGrid.
As you can see in the WebDesktop documentation, Integration with Intersoft controls only available for WebGrid that is for drag control. For drop control, it only supports WebExplorerPane, WebDesktopManager and WebNavPane controls.
You can browse to the sample in here.
You can try to use OnCheckBoxClick client-side event.
This issue only happens in IE7 compatibility mode. Could this be a browser's issue? Because it's working fine using IE8 or IE9.
I can report this issue to the developer team, but I'm not sure whether this is an issue from WebGrid or browser.
Would it be possible for you to upgrade your browser to either IE8 or IE9?
