You could try using the UXProgresBar in indeterminate mode for a busy indicator.
The UXGridPanel will allow you to display items in a grid layout uniformly. It also support interactivity for our silverlight control behavior such as drag drop, move, or reorder which could be accessed under the interactivity category in the property.
Sorry, perhaps I am not quite clear in explaining why I am using the Request object. The snippet
scheduler.AddInput("ResID", resSelectVal);
function is to pass the resSelectVal value to the request object with the ResID key, that is the reason in the ISDS selecting event parameter I could retrieve the value from the request object.
Regarding the key to used in the ISGetObject, this depends on the javascript function location, either in the user control itself or in the main page. Under some circumstances, you will need to use the full name.
We could help you test the issue, if you could give us the structure of the page.
In the test I am using en-US culture, the date and currency format is using the default en-US culture. If you could inform us the culture you are using, we could re-test the project in our environment using the culture you are using.
In the attached project, I am using smartweb resource. However, if you would like to try using common library, you could read it in the WebInput documentation in the article titled "Deploying project that does not use SmartWebResources"
Thank you for the steps and setting that you provide for us in order to replicae the issue. I have successfully replicate the issue in my environment.
It seems the issue is caused by a bug, a bug report has been submitted to our developer.
Unfortunately, we do not have any special library that we could send you to generate log files. Does the attached sample project also exhibit the same issue in your environment? If not, perhaps you could create a simple sample so we could replicate the issue in our environment.
If you would like, you could try our live chat and share your machine details so our support could connect remotely to your machine and do some quick analysis.
As I mentioned before, I am using the provided sample BindToSiteMapDataSource.aspx and modifed the data binding snippet the project is deployed to TreeView2009 virtual directory. In my test clicking the node "Online Demo" will open a new window with the address http://localhost/TreeView2009/LiveDemo.aspx?pid=78
Attached is the modified sample.
The test system is Window 7 Enterprise 64 bit with Visual Studio 2008 installed. For the assembly, please make sure that these assembly is located in project bin folder:
- ISNet.dll- ISNet.WebUI.dll- ISNet.WebUI.Resources.dll- ISNet.WebUI.WebInput.dll- ISNet.WebUI.WebInput.Resources.dll
The WebUI Framework is version 3 build 753 and WebInput is version 4 and build 4.
The InputSimpleTest archive that I attached in my last post is the deployed directory I used to test the issue, in my test environment even though the enable 32 bit application in the application pool is set to false the sample runs without any issue.
In my test by modifying the data binding settings on the BindToSiteMapDataSource.aspx sample to:
<ISWebTreeView:WebTreeViewNodeBinding DataMember="SiteMapNode" TextField="Title" NavigateURLField="Url" Target="_blank" />
Clicking the node will correctly redirect the page to the corresponding page. For example clicking the [Live Demo] node will open a new window for http://localhost/TreeView2009/LiveDemo.aspx. The project is deployed to the Treeview2009 virtual directory.
Which WebTreeView and WebUI Framework version and build number are you using? Have you update the assembly to the latest version and build number?
The issue usually occurs if you are missing the required assembly or missing some entry in the web.config.
The required entry in the web.config is already listed in the article "IIS 6 and IIS 7 Integrated mode support" on the WebTextEditor documentation. If you are using IIS7 you are still missing some entry in the system.webServer node.
The required assembly for WebFileUploader is:
- ISNet.dll- ISNet.WebUI.dll- ISNet.WebUI.Resources.dll- ISNet.WebUI.WebTextEditor.dll- ISNet.WebUI.WebTextEditor.Resources.dll
If none of the suggestion solve the issue please send us the simple page and the web.config you are using.
I have tried the WebUI Studio 2009 R2 SP1 installer in the Windows 2008 SP2 environment with Visual Studio Team System 2008 installed. In my test the Visual Studio installation will also install the .NET Framework and .NET Compact Framework.
In my test environment however, the WebUI Studio 2009 R2 SP1 installation run successfully without any issue. The installer I used is intersoft webui studio 2009 r2 sp1.exe [387MB (406,717,881 bytes)].
In a few days, we will release WebUI Studio 2010 R1 RC, do you mind trying the RC installer to see if the issue still occur in your environment. Please check Intersoft site for the RC download link when the RC is available.
