Hi Handy,
But I assume you are still working on it, right?
Please let me know if I can help anything. And please keep me updated.
Thanks,
Eric
Handy,
Any update yet?
Ok, so please let me know when you know when what is fixed - or if it is already.
Now that 2011 R1 is released, can you give an update on both bugs?
any update?
IE9 Final is out and WebGrid 2011 R1 is out.
Did anyone test if this is working now? Is this "bug" (or maybe intended behaviour) changed in the final IE9?
Also, from the bug report I see that you were talking about an IFRAME being rendered in quirks mode and that mode wasn't applied if the parent is standards mode. Does this mean that WebGrid still uses quirks mode? Or is the content rendered browser-specific? Can't WebGrid just render standard compliant HTML and only for old browsers create special output?
Hi,
I know this is a difficult issue. I fully understand that you want to replicate this. Without replication it is extremely difficult to debug, as you cannot investigate locally, I know.
But I also know that it will currently not be possible to replicate this on your side, so we should try to get all information possible from that server when the problem reappears.
I don't know what you mean with "AutoLoadBalancing". There's only one server (hence no load balancer server) and it's a Windows 2000 Advanced Server (with the old IIS), so I assume there's no such feature built-in.
If you want me to build additional logging into the application, let me know what you need to get logged.
