Hi Handy,

I also found a problem with the BackstageView, when displayed, it is a bit bigger than the window.
I'm currently not on the development computer but when I get at the office, I'll reproduce the problem and attach an image here.

Dave

Hi Handy,

But if there is a bug fix, it is announced?
That's my main concern.

Btw, the toolbox is now fixed. I have to uninstall first and then reinstall. Repair didn't work.

Thanks,
Dave

Hi Handy,

Thank you for notifying me about the updated installer.
I'm curious, is there a RSS feed or similar where we get notified about this kind of important fixes?
I can't find it on your site, and which I believe is important for customers to know. Just my two cents.

Regarding the templates, I hope to see them when VS2012 goes RTM.

One last thing, should I click on repair using the new installer or should I uninstall it first and then install it again with then new setup?

Can you share with us the changelog or what files are now included which where missing in previous installer? I always like to know what changes are involved before applying a update, or in this case, reinstall.

Thanks,
Dave

Update:

FYI, I just installed VS2012 RC and the toolbox displays all Intersoft controls without any problem, however in VS2010 the problem remains.

Also, I want to ask if there is a way to install the templates under VS2012? I'm refering to the templates when you create a new project.

Thanks in advance,
Dave

Well,

I manually added the controls to the toolbox, but I can't add the controls from the Intersoft.Client.UI.Controls assembly. When I try to add the assembly to the WPF Components list, it complains about missing System.Windows.Interactivity assembly (see attach pictures).

Hi Yudi and Handy,

@Handy I would like to see how do you achieve a similar control like ExpandableGroupBox with UXAccordion. Please take your time to prepare a sample.

@Yudi I'll take a look at your sample file and will let know my feedback.

Thanks

In my opinion, this kind of scenario is suitable to use UXAccordion. It has SelectionMode property which you can set its value to One. In this mode, only one item can active at a time.

Should you need to keep the appearance of the ExpandableGroupBox, please try to edit the header template using Blend designer.

Yudi,

I first thought about using UXAccordion but it is ugly and doesn't fit with the other controls (without proper theming). That's why I choosed ExpandableGroupBox.

So, it is really no option to achieve what I previously asked using this control?

If the answer is definitely no then, could you provide guided directions on how to achieve this with UXAccordion?

Thanks in advance!

Nevermind.. There's no wizard component with WebUI Studio.
