No problem Yudi, anytime ;)

Btw, I just checked your sample.. But, could you please be so kind to provide a non Silverlight version? Since it's asking me to reference DevForce .SL assemblies and the project is WPF.

Edit:

Nevermind. I'll wait for the new release.

Thanks again,
Dave
Hi Hans,

I'm more concerned about the first issue (not excluding that the second is indeed an issue too) and only would like to know if it will be fixed or not, I don't have a deadline yet.
I understand that is a limitation of WPF itself, and it works without any issue with Silverlight, but since we develop in WPF and Microsoft remains silence about Silverlight future..

Dave

Thanks Yudi,

Wonderful. I'll have a look at it, at first glance it contains the updated library. Btw, one little suggestion. In the installer (custom installation), there's no way to choose to whether install or not DevForce. It will be nice to be able to select to not install, this is a handy option when there's already a product installed and also when the setup includes a previous version of it and the computer already has a newer version.

Just a suggestion.

Thanks,
Dave

Hi Yudi,

If you can provide the sample, it will be fantastic. Since there's no way to test QueryDescriptor using the latest version of DevForce with async/await pattern.
Hi Yudi,

Yes, that's true. DevForce 2012 uses the new async/await pattern. However, the SaveChanges, OnSuccess and OnFail is not really my major concern. I've ajusted the sample code generated by your templates. The major concern is with QueryDescriptor, since it needs to be changed in your Intersoft.Client.Data.Provider.DevForce library and such code or how it works behind the scenes is not provided in the documentation.
Hi Yudi,

Is now April and I'm wondering if there's a hotfix or new setup which includes DevForce 2012 v7.1

Thanks in advance,
Dave
Hi Hans,

Do the developer team managed to fix this issue?
Please let me know if it was already fixed or any possible ETA.

Thanks in advance,
Dave
Hans,

The way you tried to reproduce the issue is not correct. Perhaps, my explanation wasn't well elaborated, so I also created a video showing the steps to reproduce the issue.

Hope it helps.

Dave

Hi Hans,

Regarding points:

1) Thanks for the update. Please, update this Thread when the issue is fixed.
2) The resize issue seems to be fixed, however, when you drag the window off the limits of the Screen, it is shown incorrectly.

Take a look at the image in order to understand what I'm saying.

To reproduce, simply drag the app window to the right of the screen, only showing like half of the app window, then click on the menu.

Thanks,

Regards,
Dave
