I just finished working through "Silverlight for Dummies" so have an understanding of standard components/XAML/CodeBehind and some familiarity with WCF Data Services/ADO.Net/Entity Framework etc. I then stumbled through a couple of Silverlight component vendors and ultimately here. I'm very impressed with some of the modules as well as the "promise" of the relationship with DevForce to streamline the backend.
However, I wonder whether I should first learn conventional Silverlight components and ASP.NET data connectivity or essentially start with WebUI?
I don't mind the cost of the license but what are the downsides to be aware of??
Also, if I am willing to pay a consultant to help me get going quickly and then sporadically on a per issue basis, is this (ie including site architecture issues) something that would be available within the scope of a license package AND/OR is there some other entities willing to offer this (if an individual email me directly with rates and near term availability).
