I have two projects, one is Silverlight and the other WPF. The Silverlight project does not give me the nag popup for "evaluation copy" for the ClientUI controls but the WPF project does. Can anyone tell me why this is? Also, I have a co-worker working entirely in WPF and is getting the nag info. We both have seperate licenses and have activiated them on our workstations.
Hello,
Please let me know the environment details. Is it 32 bit or 64 bit? If it is 64 bit, please try to remove Intersoft registries at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Intersoft Solutions.
Also, does this Silverlight and WPF run in the same development machine?
Regards,Handy
This is 64 bit and for my project, both the SL and the WPF projects are in the same development machine. I deleted all the keys at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Intersoft Solutions. Now the license manager shows no registered licenses and when I press "Add License" I get a message "All installed Intersof'ts products have been licensed."
It's weird. If SL version got registered well, WPF should be too. Please let me know your email address. I will need to ask your detail license key in email contact.
When my college with the WPF only project generated a runtime license and embedded it in his project the nag screen went away. I have a runtime also in my SL app which does not have the nag screen. My WPF project does not have a runtime generated for it as of yet and it has the nag. Both my college and myself have different developer license keys installed our machines. But now that I have deleted the registery information I have the problem as stated above. I have sent you a seperate email with the information you requested.
Hello Steve,
Thank you for your email. I can replicate the issue in my development machine here. I will forward this to our development teams. Btw, when you mentioned about runtime license, is it about deployment? If yes, you will need to generate license.islicx based on your RunTimeLicense key. License key is different from RunTimeLicense key. Also, I could not check your second subscription id. We also never provided a single key only for WPF only. When delivered the key, it should for SL and WPF.
Hello Steve, the WPF app will show the license warning at runtime which is the behavior by design. To remove the runtime nag screen, please embed the runtime license information.
By entering the correct design key, the trial nag screen should no longer appear. Please let me know if you still get the trial screen. Thanks!
