I seem to be having trouble extracting the default style of the components using Blend 2012, no matter which option I go through for editing the style, template, itemcontainerstyle, using the 'Edit a Copy' option or any of the other available commands, I can't get anything other than a blank template with no property setters populated.
I need to access the existing intersoft styling on these controls so that I can tweak a few of the colors used as part of our themeing, and adjust some of the visual states a bit further as well. Can you provide some insight on how to do this using Blend 2012, post them here, or point me to where I can get these from my installation directory?
Previous versions of Blend seemed to 'just work', but Blend 2012 seems to have changed this capability.
I will have this forwarded to the development team to be investigated further.
In the meantime, you can try to use the template which is generated using MS Expression Blend uploaded in here. Hope this helps.
Please find attached UXTreeViewExtractedStyle.zip file. The file contains UXTreeViewItem and UXTreeViewItemContainerStyle generated by MS Expression Blend.
Hope this helps.

This problem has been forwarded to ClientUI development team and filed under CLIENTUI-37.
Thanks Yudi, that works for the TreeView. Could you also post up the UXTreeViewItem and/or the ItemContainerStyle so I can work on adjusting those?
Thanks Yudi, while I'm glad to get it, the big cheese above me will be even happier. Definitely a pain, still trying to find a version of MS Expression Blend instead of Blend 2012 that I can get working to get around this.
Apologize for any inconvenience this problem may have caused you.
For your information, I’m using Microsoft Expression Blend 4 in my local end to temporarily generate/populate ClientUI control’s template. Should the hotfix ready, we can use the Blend for Visual Studio 2012 to do so.
