Please ensure that you have had following property of UXDialogBox enabled.

• CanResize
• CanMinimize
• CanMaximize

I enclosed one simple project which shows UXDialogBox with Close button; Maximize button; Minimize button; and resize-able.

UXDialogBox is typically used in two scenarios: standalone and desktop-integrated mode. The minimize button and maximize button works when UXDialogBox is used in desktop-integrated mode.

I made a minor modification to the Window and Dock Integration SL development-sample project by enabling CanMinimize; CanMaximize property of Settings.xaml. The Settings.xaml uses UXDialogBox. After save the changes and rebuild the solution, the minimize and maximize buttons are working as expected.
