Hello,
I downloaded ClientUI trial edition and demostrating capabilities for my customer to choose ClientUI components. In WPF 4 application, I had fair amount of success using other controls but UXSearchBox does not instantiate successfully. I made sure, styles or custom templates are not interfering but design mode control as well as runtime execution is throwing same exception. Would you let me know where I'm doing it wrong?
The given key was not present in the dictionary.

The problem is resolved. When I tried to drop the control from toolbox, the client suite asked for license validation and then it worked fine. It works nice now but wasted quite a lot of time :-(
I replied little too early. The activation (try now) is still interferring with the testing of search control? Is there a way i can test search control in trial mode?
Glad to hear that the problem is resolved now.
Yes, you can test the search control product in trial mode since there is no functionality limitation on the trial version against the license version.
Hope this helps.
Sorry for the confusion. I'm still having the problem.
The problem can be reproduce by creating a new Intersoft WPF client application and drop search control (UxSearchBox) in main window and run the application.
Am I supposed to set any setting for trial edition?
I apologize for any inconvenience this problem may have caused you.
I was able to reproduce the issue on my local end. The issue has been reported and forwarded to ClientUI development team to be fixed. I’ll let you know any news I heard from the development team regarding this issue.
Thank you for the feedback.
This issue has been fixed, the hotfix will be released early next week.
Thanks,Jimmy
Excellent. Thanks. I purchased the product now, where can I get the hotfix?
If you have purchased the product, you should be able to get the product’s hotfix from:
Intersoft Update Manager Application.
Point the mouse to start > All Programs > Intersoft WebUI Studio 2010 R2 > Update Manager.
Intersoft Update Manager will establish connection to Intersoft's Web Service by using HTTP protocol. Make sure you have connected to Internet before performing Updates scan. The Update Manager also scans your computer for any valid Components and submit the required information in order to obtain the Updates. You can then choose the updates that you want to download or install it automatically.
Intersoft Developer Network (http://dev2.intersoftpt.com/)
An account in Intersoft Developer Network will be created for every registered customer. Please login into the Intersoft Developer Network and open the ‘My Components’ section. The hotfix files can be manually downloaded from the ‘Hotfix’ tab of ‘MyComponents’ window.
