Hello, Today I have installed 2012 r2. First I did a full remove of all old versions. Then I used CCcleaner to clean the registry. I did a full install. I opened VS 2010 then opened an Intersoft Template. I then tried to add any of the controls found in the toolbox and all I get is an error dialog saying Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Now what do I do?
I fixed it. I uninstalled everything. Deleted the left over folders that never get cleaned up when I uninstall it. Deleted the Reg Keys, then ran CC cleaner to clean up all the other reg keys. then reinstalled. :/ I have to do this everything I get an update.
Hi Andre,
Could you let me know the control that you used to replicate this issue in your local end? I tried to replicate this issue in our local end. But unfortunately, I couldn't get this error in my local end. Look forward to hear any feedback from you so I can help you further.
Regards,Bernard
hi, it's every control in VS 2010. I removed the tab and when to the tool to add it but it didn't do anything so now I have no controls in vs2010. It works find in vs 2012
I couldn't replicate your issue in my local end. Our control works perfectly in VS2010 and VS2012 at my local end. Could you let me know the environment or the steps to replicate your issue in our local end? You can try to add our control manually using Choose Item option on context menu in ToolBox (right click on ToolBox). Hope this helps.
