Hi all,
I set the ViewSettings as show below:
<ViewSettings SelectedViewMode="Week" SelectedWeekViewMode="FullWeek" VisibleEndTime="t1700" VisibleStartTime="t0800">
I have an error in the javascript code of the WebScheduler if I open the aspx page after 18.00, please have a look at the attached image.
Could someone help me?
Thanks in advance,
I’d like to inform you that WebScheduler development team has managed to fix the issue. I also have ensure that the issue no longer persist using the nightly-build hotfix of WebScheduler 3. I’ve uploaded the nightly-build hotfix to be tested on your end. Please let us know whether the nightly-build hotfix helps or not.
Please download the nightly-build hotfix of WebScheduler at here.
Note:
*The nightly-build hotfix has not been extensively tested (disclaimer on). So, we are really appreciate if you have encountered an issue can kindly give us a feedback of it.
*Please carefully follow the step-by-step shown in this link, in order to apply the hotfix manually.
*Please close all opened Microsoft Visual Studio opened project during applying the hotfix.
*After finish apply the hotfix to your development machine, please don’t forget to apply this hotfix to your own project.
*It is recommended to do ‘iisreset’; clear ‘Temporary ASP.NET Files’ in “C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files” folder; and clear browser’s cache before re-test the issue using the hotfix.
By using the setting, initially WebScheduler will show events in week view (in full week) start from 08:00 (8:00 am) till 17:00 (5:00 pm). I made a minor modification to FirstExperience.aspx sample file in WebSchedulerSamples project based on the ViewSettings that you use and was unable to reproduce the issue.
Could you please kindly explain about the terms “I have an error in the javascript code of the WebScheduler if I open the aspx page after 18:00”, so that we can continue to analyze the issue better?
Hi Yudi
the problem depends on the current time and on the visible time.
Here a new screen shot: as you can see in the computer clock current time is 8.43 AM. I set the visible time from 03.00 AM to 07.00 AM.
<ViewSettings SelectedViewMode="Week" SelectedWeekViewMode="FullWeek" VisibleEndTime="t0700" VisibleStartTime="t0300">
Because 8.43 AM is outside visible time, the WebScheduler rise the error.
Regards,
Vince
Thank you very much for the explanation about the steps to reproduce the issue. I’ve been able to reproduce the issue right now.
The javascript exception that happens when current time is outside the visible time has been submitted to WebScheduler development team to be fixed. A work item, #727, has been created regarding this.
I’ll keep you updated with any news I heard from the team about work item #727.
Hi Yudi,
