Hello, embedding WEBINPUT, configured to get date, inside a table’s cell IE 11 doesn’t show the page correctly, as you can see on the attachment, removing WI control the table’s structure and WebCombo control is perfectly shown. The same page is shown perfectly by Firefox. I have built and attached a simple sample just to let you focus the problem.Thank you.Regards.Luciano
Hello again Luciano,
This has been addressed as an issue under ASPNET-364. I'll keep you updated on this. Thank you for the report, we really appreciate it.
Best Regards,Erwin Sanders
Hello Luciano,
Here's the nightly build hotfix for ASPNET-364. To apply this hotfix manually, you can follow these steps:
Hi Luciano,
I think there's no need to open another thread as someone with the same issue reported this a couple days ago. If you'd like you can see it on this page. On that thread, the problem was fixed by renewing the ISNet.WebUI.WebGrid.Editor.Metro in GAC.
First thing that you can do is to check the assemblies version whether it's the same as in the assemblies folder and in your project's. Then you can renew the Metro dll assembly and try rebuilding your project.
Let me know if this helps you. By the way, if this is the problem with WebGrid's hierarchical that you reported in this thread, our development team are still working on that and I'll notify you once it's done.
First you could try to create a new project and embed a WebGrid in that page, see if the WebGrid designer can be opened. If it does, then you can continue by migrating your original project to that.
I'm using Windows 8, VS 2015 Enterprise, WebGrid 10, WebCombo 7, and latest WebUI framework. I attached the latest nightly-built hotfixes as well if you ever needed them. Note that this nightly-built hasn't fixed the WebGrid Designer with hierarchical yet.
Hope this helps.
Hello,
Quick update on property issue, based on your screenshots, that WebCombo properties is actually displayed. You just need to resize description part to be more narrow.
For the WebGrid, is this the same issue that you reported regarding hierarchical structure? If so, our development team are still working on this. I did try it on my end but unfortunately, it works fine (except when I changed the WebGrid's hierarchical to true).
I'm sorry for any delay and we'll try to adjust our environment just like yours.
Hello, unfortunately we only fix bugs and other issues on our latest version of a product. So, to answer you question, there won't be any fixes for WebUI 2015 R1.
Hi Luciano, I'm still struggling to replicate that WebGrid Designer issue. I tried creating new Web Site, embedded the WebGrid, opened the Design tab, right clicked the WebGrid, and chose WebGrid Designer. But still, no issues occur. I'm using VS 2015 Enterprise, WebGrid 10, and WebUI Framework 3.0.5000.972. Have you tried run your VS as admin? Did this problem occur suddenly one morning without any changes or configuration that you did?
As for the hierarchical issue, I believe there would be fixes by next week. Please kindly wait and sorry for any delay.
Yes it's the same as mine! Thanks for the info, Luciano! I'm very glad that it works out fine for you in the end. Should you have any more questions, please feel free to ask us again. And I'll keep you updated on that hierarchical issue. Thanks again for your cooperation :)
There's been a hotfix for you to resolve the WebGrid Designer issue. You could apply the hotfix by following these steps:
