I created a simple experiment on WebGrid.NET 6.0 build 217 and WebUI.NET Framework 3.0 build 705 based on the information that you provide. The grid is bind to “OrderDetails” table of Northwind database using AccessDataSource control and the “Discount” column is set to have DataFormatString=”p”.

I was unable to repro the issue on my end. Please modify the attached sample so that it replicates the issue and then have the sample send back to us to be investigated further.

I found the reason because of the data, in oracle "DECODE(d.TotalTime, 0, NULL, ROUND(c.DredgingTime / d.TotalTime, 2)) AS month_dredging_rate," return string type, not decimal type. so DataFormatString="p" does not work.
