Hi,

Can you please provide a link or a zip to an example in which the Adding functionailty really does work properly.

In the C# samples of the WebGrid 7 add on the /WebGrid/AllowAdding.aspx does not work on FireFox

(the "Please click here to add new row..." is allways disabled) & in IE when you do fill the rows in, the pencil icon in the far left does nothing, ie, no Event is generated..

Please advise..

Hi David,

I do not understand why the sample does not work well at your place, because the sample can work well here. What version of Firefox and IE are you using? I use Firefox 8.0 and IE 9. Although, actually it can be able to work well in any version.

Perhaps, you can try to run our lives sample below.

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback

using

In Firefox 7.0.1, no far left pencil icon appears, but hopefully i can around this by adding a custom button,,

IE 7, the icon appears, but it cannot be clicked, i dont like using the context menus to add rows, hopefully will get around this using a custom button.

Hi David,

I also tried the sample in Firefox 7 and IE 7. It can work well in here. Could you provide the screecshot or step by step to reproduce your issue ?

Hendrik

Hi David,

I still can not replicate your issue, I also tried using firefox 7:01 (screenshot attached). But I can replicate this issue for WebGrid that allows to perform filtering. And this is identified as a bug. I will report this to our developer teams. Thank you for your feedback.

Regards,

Hendrik
