in the grid, i have OnAddRow,OnUpdateRow,OnDeleteRow event. Suppose on update row, i found some problem with the data or any exception occurs, how can i notify to the client that problem occured in the server?
Currently, if there is any error back from server, you can handle the error message OnUnhandledError client side event.
e.g
function WebGrid1_OnUnhandledError(controlId, tblName, lastRequestObject, errorString) { var WebGrid1 = ISGetObject(controlId); window.setTimeout("replaceError()",50); return true; } function replaceError() { var errorMessage = document.getElementById("wg_ErrorMsg"); errorMessage.innerText = "Your Own Error Message"; }
