Footer text gets exported in a strange way

In my WebGrid 6.0.215 I have FooterText="  " so that empty group total rows looks like the rest of the rows, otherwise they look very strange.

When exporting to pdf it looks weird because it shows "  1500" for example if the group total is 1500. Of course I only want to show 1500. How can that be done?
