Dear InterSoft,
I am working with WebGrid7 which use ObjectDataSource to retrieve a data. As an upgrade I was asked to add updating functionality in a specific way. I should not use an ObjectDataSource but rather do update in JS function looping through every row in WebGrid. When I do it this way I got a message "Updating is not supported by ObjectDataSource unless the Update method is specified." How can I disable this built-in functionality?

Hello Nick,
Unfortunately, the error message could not be discarded. When you use DataSource control, you must to specify the method for insert,update and delete. Otherwise, (Update is not handled), you would get the error.
So, I suggest you to handle the update method in order to run the application correctly.
