Is anyone else having issues with compatibility of WebDesktop with IE11 or Firefox 28? Having just recently upgraded my development environment, webdesktop has now immediately stopped working. This is causing some concern as we are right in the middle of developing a prototype website for a client, and need maximum compatibility. I have tried switching to HTML5 from quirks, even tried xhtml, but nothing seems to get the desktop to show. Any thoughts or ideas, or even anyone else with the same problem, and I would love to hear from you.
Thanks.
EDIT: Ok, so after a bit of playing around, I can see now what is going on. The setting for height fails if it is set to 100%. Set the height to a specific number (eg 810px) and everything seems to work fine. So, any pointers or suggestions as to where to go from here?
Thanks again in advance.
EDIT 2: Ok, so having more of a play arround, I suspect there is something javascript/css related going on here. With the height of the desktop set, it displays, and any window I open shows, but if I minimise the window, I cant get it to redisplay.
Hello,
HMTL5 and XHTML behaves differently from Quirks (HTML4) mode. You need to understand the behaviour first.
First, how to work with dynamic size such as 100%. If you put height 100% for simple div, you will see that it will not have 100% for its height. Why? That because the height itself is calculated based on the outer/parent container. So, the outer/parent need to be set to 100%. Try to check our sample that use HTML5. You will find that in HTML,div and form at the top as container would be set as 100%.
This is also valid for our control. If you have difficulty when configuring HTML5, you can send us your simple sample and we would be glad to help you.

Hello Dean,
It is hard to say if we don't have a simple project that replicates your issue. I believe that there should be some missing steps in your page. So, to enhance our collaboration can you send me the project? I can point out what is missing in there.
